At the heart of the Lesser Town is the beautiful Lesser Town Square where you'll find the magnificent baroque St.Nicholas Church. The Lesser Town is also located in Praha 1.

Restaurants and historic sights like the Czech National Museum, bars, this is actually a wide thoroughfare lined with shops. Nov� Mesto (New Town) is home to the city's famous boulevard - Wenceslas Square.

The Praha 3 district is home to Zizkov which is about 1km from the city centre.

There's no doubt that the Praha 1 - Praha 3 districts are the most popular with visitors to Prague.

The summer months and Christmas, praha 1 hotels especially those in Mala Strana and the Stare Mesto tend to be pricey especially during the peak season of Easter.

These areas are still very tourist orientated and there are plenty of Prague hotels located here. Zizkov and Vinohrady (just east of Nove Mesto) are ideal if you want to be located within easy travel distance from the city center. If you want to get away from the crowded busy city atmosphere then choose hotels in the suburbs, however.
